October is my favorite month. Not only is it PSL season, but its National Cyber Security Awareness Month, hosted by CISA and National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA). This year’s theme is #BeCyberSmart, extremely fitting for current work from home orders. As ImagineX’s senior cybersecurity intern, I will be taking over social for the month to show you how we are being #CyberSmart and a NCSAM champion.
Staying safe and secure online has always been an imperative action for organizations, but, now that we are all working from home, it is crucial that our home networks are capable of keeping us protected. Here at ImagineX, the switch to WFH was minimal as many of us worked remotely prior to COVID-19. This month, team members will share what they do to ensure that if they connect it, they protect it.
This month, NCSA is placing important emphasis on the healthcare industry. As the target of many cyber threats during the pandemic, securing internet connected devices in healthcare is extremely important. ImagineX has had the opportunity to work within the healthcare industry to help our clients better protect themselves. Paired with being a key tech partner in the Emory 5G Innovation Center, we know the importance of protecting our healthcare industry. This month, we will dive into why it is so important to secure these devices and how to most effectively accomplish it.
